Citizens across the country defied their state governments today.
Ohio, Minnesota, and Idaho were just three states who demanded that their Governors rescind “stay-at-home” orders and get out of the way so citizens can get back to work.
Under state government shutdowns, citizens across the country are losing their livelihood. While everyone recognizes that the Chinese Coronavirus is real, so are other problems associated with the shutdowns.
Today, in response to Governor Little’s shutdown, hundreds of Idahoans protested the overreach of government and showed support for local businesses who have been decimated!
Incredibly, just three days ago the protest was planned and little notice given to citizens to come together.
However, with the help of the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, Idaho Freedom Foundation, and Health Freedom Idaho, word spread quickly.
Leftist groups and media tried to claim this was a movement of “far-right” extremists. However, one look at the crowd and you could see people from all walks of life standing up for freedom.
The movement across America to re-open our economy is about everyday Americans who need to get back to work.
With suicides, domestic abuse, and drug use on the rise, Americans are anxious to get back to some semblance of normalcy.
Human beings simply aren’t meant to be quarantined like this for this long. We understand that risk is an inevitable part of human existence.
While we are trying to defeat the Chinese Coronavirus, we are making worse problems in other areas of our lives.
Some of these issues may be worse than the virus itself.
Sadly, Governor Little decided to extend the stay-at-home order as did other governors across the country.
It was the extension of the order the caused today’s protest.
Idahoans are fed up with our freedoms being taken and our livelihoods being destroyed in the name of safety.
So, Idahoans who care deeply about the overreach of government and the economic stability of our state came together in solidarity.
Speakers ranged from activists to business owners to state legislators.
Representatives Christy Zito, Tammy Nichols, and Chad Christensen all spoke at the rally. Additionally, Rep. Judy Boyle and State Senator Regina Bayer were in attendance.
There were several disruptions during the protest but they didn’t have much of an impact.
One protestor with Nevada license plates stopped in the middle of the street, got out of her car, and allegedly spit and coughed on protesters.
An interesting choice of action for someone who must believe we should not be close to each other.
Yet, it was no surprise that a radical leftist decided to use physical actions against others. The police immediately intervened and it is unclear if she was cited.
I was able to capture the entire event for all Idahoans and the country to see.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! set America free!!!!
SEMPER-FI FROM MICHIGAN
Stupid and wrong. Standing on top of each other. No one wearing a mask. You idiots are asking for a viral infection. You reap what you sow.
Epidemiologists fully admit that most of us will get the virus, so I’m not sure what you’re point is.
*your
Stupid, just going to spread the virus faster.Going to end up like New York ALOT of death. Sunshine possibley helps kill the virus, but distances yourself outside. Protesting groups are not distancing. Where is commend sense.
You are wishing for so much death to people who disagree with you, but agree with the constitution. Shameful. (Your losing the argument everyday. The truth is coming out. It’s inevitable)
Sunshine and fresh air are the best deterrents to viruses. Best way to spread them is to lock yourself indoors.
Geat you are right glad this protest was allowed to happen
To those who would rather lock themselves up in their house for the rest of their lives.. just do it. We will stay out here taking that chance (with the biggest hoax played on the American people in my lifetime) to protect the freedoms afforded to you by both the U.S. Constitution and the Idaho Constitution that you choose to give up on. Some of us have to stay strong for those who aren’t able. You have that right to lock yourself up. I have the right to not be locked up. That is what makes this country so great. We have choices. For now… Keep letting the government tell you what to do and how to do it and you will no longer have the freedom to choose because you have expressed to them by your lack of inaction that you are just fine having a police state. Careful what you wish for.
Why am I seeing so many men so scared of a bug? They put something in the water?
Washington State is rallying on Sunday with a March starting at the Governor’s Mansion
Thank you for the encouragement.
We were there!
I think it was long overdue and great. The constitution gives us the right of assembly and protest. The whole thing has been blown out of proportion by the evil that want to control the world.
I was there it was amazing!!! So glad to see young and old fight the dictatorship of Governor Little! We must fight for our rights now or forever lose them!!! I was proud to be a part of this. Hope to be a part of more protests until Little serves the people and the Constitution and not his agenda paid for by corrupt businesses!
I was there! It was awesome being part of such a large and diverse group of people standing up for our freedoms! It’s despicable how the mainstream media either ignores what happened or outright lies about what’s going on in Idaho to minimize it so others think it’s insignificant or just some far right crazies!
